| Welcome to the Ship of Fools, my dear friends~! |
| I've been a Fantasy-book-worn good since the day I had opened a book for the first time in the second class of elemtary school Then I began devouring more sophisticated fantasy and science fiction novels [I think was about 13 at that time]. Robin Hobb, George R. R. Martin, Dan Simonns, J. R. R. Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, Diana Wynne Jones, R. Salvatore, Andrzej Ziemiański and many more. So far I have been hunting for many fantasy novels and poring over them with joy [even though I have less time for it now, I try to read as many FF books as I am able]. On the other hand, SF novels aren't completely foreign to me - they are pleasure for me to read too. The sage which I can really recommend you is George R. R. Martin's 'Song of Ice and Fire' . The first volume's title is 'Game of thrones'. I adore the detailed background of Seven Kingdoms, the variety of aristocratic houses of fictional Westeros[the lands where action takes place], a lot of complicated characters and the fact that even main characters actually dies when it comes to lethal... situations - they aren't invicible or immortal. It's not a naive story, but a complicated series of epic fantasy novel which include lots of elements from different cultures - even African, Mohawk Indian, British [about XIV age], Mongols and Huns. The second fantasy sage that is one of the best I've ever read - 'The Farseer Trilogy' by Robin Hobb. The first book of this trilogy tells about Fitz's life as a bastard [Fitz Chivalry, Fitz meaning Bastard and Chivalry after his father named Chivalry so "Bastard of Chivalry") as he begins his training as an assasin. Here the presented world appears to be complex yet marvelous - history of The Six Duchies is compelling, the psychological portret of the main hero, his struggles in life as a despised bastard yet a royal assasin had been showed in an engrossing way. I have to also recommend you this very good book, 'Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss. I didn't find the beginning interesting, but if you keep reading the novel will engross you quickly. The main hero, Kvothe, tells his life story to a Chronicler. The story gets so interesting! Kvothe is an extremely talented musician, particularly with his voice and lute. He was born in a troop of traveling artists, so he learned many plays and tricks as they traveled. Naturally, his life is not as simple and nice as that, which we ascertain from the book's events. What I like about it is that it's a story about an ordinary man - he has to earn money in order to have something to eat, place to sleep, to live, and he's not a some heroic warrior without neeeds - who is also extraordinary - he learns at a lightning speed and wants to understand "symphathy", a form of magic which allows the user to link two objects together and cause changes in the objects. You can't stop reading after you start the interesting part! I prefer reading manga than watching anime. Yeah, it's TRUE. Reading, feeling the story, appreciating the drawings - shadows, anatomy, perspectives, details - all that matters. Evaluating the workshop, assessing the narration, characters and presented world... This is IT. I am far more critical for mangas than for animes. Good manga has to be perfectly done. Berserk, Vagabond, Blade of Immortal, The Jackals, Dangu, Island... That's what I call a real piece of comics art. Come to good animes that are worth watching, here they are - Serei no moribito, 12 kingdoms, Casshern sins, Berserk, Guin Saga, Durarara, 07ghost, Sword of the Stranger and all works by Satoshi Kon <3 By the ways comics I adore - Sandman series, Lucifer, Fables and Hellblaiser. I have a twin sister. A fraternal twin sister We have completely different faces, personalties and temperaments. And totally the same tastes, interests, opinions. Well, maybe not entirely identical XD But at least quite similar. My dear sis, D-Lulish ; * I would like to publish a book illustrated with my own drawings. I want it to enjoy a lot of success! It doesn't have to be appreciated by mass[but I won't be dissapointed if it does xD], but what's importantly - among connoisseurs. I do not care for the will of the crowd, but for the opinions of connoisseurs, people deeply intrested in the topic with unconventional minds! And I will achieve it for sure. xD My novel is going to be a bit unusual with innovative form of narration and creation of presented world which may seem confusing for insensitive minds... Despite the difficulties in the modern world... I'll try >D I plan to form a band and set up a corporation. Yeah... I don't see these smileys of yours, not at all! I know that even at this moment you can see livery of my economic empire in every city in the world! Wait for the fantasy realm company which provides books, movies, music, comics, larp accessories, rpg manuals, and much, much more ... All FANTASY. You're gonna see it in aproximately fifteen years! Exept the Fantasy stuffs, I will also be selling punk and goth clothes, some designed by me and my sis and some imported from Japan. Moreover you will be able also to get a visual-kei hairstyle, tattoo, piercing and even jewellery thanks to us. Just wait for us to rule the world! xD And the band ... Remember the name "The Nops" [to be honest it can be changed until the debut... * Oh, silence, my schizophrenia! *]. We'll play rock, celtic, medieval mixed with our own kind of music. Hell yeah! Lulish on bass, me on vocals and guitar, [I' gonna fulfill my dream of a microphone, a stage and audience finally! * Yeah xD *], Sofie on drumms and Abog on guitar. That's the plan Okay, enough with fantasizing, back to the facts now. I love "Tutku" cookies and "Geisha" sweets. They both taste so perfectly that you can't even believe the flavour like that really exists in this mere world... My favourites colours are blue and black. That's the incarnation of my soul... Hmm... I get angry quite easily and irritate other people^ ^ On the other hand I have moments of altruism and selflessness too. At the end I want to tell about my musical taste. Folk metal, pagan metal, celtic, harp, bard, folk pagan, medieval - these are my favourites kinds of music. Eluviete, Omnia, Faun, Mediaval Babes,Corvus Corax, Varavn,, Heather Alexander, Loreena McKennitt. Power metal band - Blind Guardian, Kamelot and Freedom fighters. And of course ROCK! Nickelback, SoaD, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Hinder, Rise Against, The Cranberries, Shinedown and many mooooore. Thank you for reading to the end [I admire you for your achievement if you're here xD]. I hope you weren't too much bored with my writing and enjoyed it a little bit. ;D Nathaniele |
